People say “The love of money is the root of all evil.” That’s true because some people will do almost anything to get it. That was a lesson Duddy had to learn the hard way. In 1996 Southside Chicago, you had two choices; get money or get high. Duddy chose the money and didn’t look back. In this based-on-real-life story, we follow Duddy and his best friend P.W. as they go from petty hustlers, running the set for J.B. to finally running their own crew with all the benefits. They had the money, the downtown penthouse, the fly cars and the top pick of the ‘round the way freaks. With all of this going for them, the only concern was how could they get more. They knew that the grass is greener on the other side of being broke, but they forgot one simple rule: Look out for the snakes and especially the fakes.
